Alternative dispute resolution means the use of any method to resolve disputes other than litigation. Avoiding litigation makes sense for marital and relationship conflicts in that litigation can add unnecessary stress, pressures, emotional damage and costs typically associated with court processes and litigation.
Carol Verebay Katler, LMHC and Sandra A. Grim, Esq. are both Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediators. They bring with them a combined 25 years of experience dealing with family conflict and dispute resolution. Their co-mediation approach allows for their diverse backgrounds in law and psychology to come together during each mediation helping to keep the process on course resulting in less destructive and more positive outcomes.
After reaching agreement and the mediation has concluded, there are additional forms that need to be filled out and filed with the courts. We can fill out all of the other necessary forms you will need in order to file for the uncontested divorce. Our standard forms package includes a petition for dissolution, an answer, two financial affidavits, various other forms that the court requires, notarizing these forms, and filing the forms for you.
The Co-Mediation Group provides Elder Mediation for families in need of making family decisions on issues relating to aging parents or family members. Mediators facilitate a purposeful and directed conversation where all family members get to be heard and their concerns addressed. Before these most important issues escalate to the point of legal intervention, the process of mediation allows families to come together to explore solutions to family matters and challenges in ways not available through traditional litigation. Early intervention is preferable before the family goes into crisis mode. Contact us at info@TheCoMediationGroup.com for more information.
Divorce is ugly. It's the truth. I thought my ex and I were going to be able to have the easiest, most mature split ever. But with emotions and stress levels high it was not pretty. We went to the Co-Mediation Group, and were able to come out feeling as though we both had received a fair settlement. Carol and Sandra were so patient and made the time we all spent together less stressful then I could have imagined. They really listened to what we both wanted and made it happen.Needless to say, I am extremely satisfied with our agreement and am glad we chose the Co-Mediation Group for this tough experience.
The Co Mediation Group is fabulous! They are easy to work with, great at what they do, and incredibly professional. I highly recommend them.
The Co-Mediation Group made this difficult transition easy for me and my ex-wife. They conducted themselves professionally and were very compassionate thru the whole process. I would recommend them to anyone I know and I all ready have.
I used The Co-Mediation Group when I was going through my divorce. Their unique blend of having 2 mediators was the best! The process was as smooth as could be under difficult circumstances. The cost associated with the divorce was extremely fair and truly much less. Barry Sexpensive than retaining an attorney.
I would strongly recommend The Co-Mediation Group! If children are involved, it the only way to go!
The co-Mediation Group was very helpful during the extremely difficult process of divorce. Both individuals helped facilitate conversation and come to a mutually beneficial decision.
